By The Cute And Girly

I've dusted off my Patchwork Pals stamps for one of my August projects at By The Cute And Girly. I've given this blog a bit of a re-vamp too.
This is Dollie the elephant on a DL sized card.
I've used K&Co Que Sera Sera paper for the background and then stamped out the scene with my stamps and layered it up. The message is on a ribbon slide but the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers have almost covered it up.
My main blog is HERE where I've posted my other By The Cute And Girly project this month and there's currently Summer Candy on offer.

Triple Day

It's triple easy pay day at QVC with all on air items and some web specials. There are lots of the Patchwork Pals kits included in the offer, yes! I've stocked up on some non-Christmas stamps so hopefully that should mean some new entries on this blog very soon. Let me know if you buy anything and how you get an with it. Comment on here and I will come and have a look at your Patchwork Pal projects!

2 Today

A young man I know is 2 today and I've used Patchwork Pals Billy for his card.
Stamped lots of times on different papers and then pieced together.
I was all sorted and then realised I didn't have any hair stamped, so I grabbed the 1st brown that came to hand. It was flowery but I like the effect!
Happy Birthday Mr Man!

Make A Scene!

That's what I've been working on with my Patchwork Pals stamps lately.

My order to complete my collection of Christmas stamps finally arrived and I was able to combine them all to make the gift.

I stamped a scene for the background, water coloured it and used a Xyron Creative Station to seal it with a magnetic back.
Unfortunately, the magnets were only strong enough to cling in very small sizes so I finished off the pieces with double sided laminate to give a cling effect.
So a scene can be made like this ........
I didn't have time to make an elaborate box but did stamp the lovely big Christmas Bonny and Bradley on the lid.
A bit of a proto-type really, but I already have ideas for #2.

I haven't ordered any of the new Patchwork Pals for 2010 yet. I missed the launch show and the internet doesn't show detailed enough pictures so I'm hoping to catch them next time they are on air. I'm thinking of getting the train ones next time I have any spare pocket money, anyine else bought them yet?

Happy Crafting and a Happy New Year.

Not really neglected

I have been working with my Patchwork Pals stamps but it's for a Christmas surprise that I can't blog yet.

Also ordered another set of Christmas images as they are now back in stock at QVC except they didn't come, grrrrr! Apparently they were unable to deliver them, wot? So they are on their way again and expected by Christmas Eve at the latest.

Christmas is coming ......

I can't believe it's a month since I last used my Patchwork Pals and as it's about time I got on with my Christmas cards I added one of Holly to the pile.
Finished off with some card scraps and stickers from last year, if not the year before. I'm determined to use up as much of my Christmas supplies as I can this year so that next year I can indulge in the latest treats.

Pumpkins

The current challenge at Copic creations is to colour pumpkins. Now this hasn't quite gone according to plan for me. 1st I don't have any really pumpkin coloured copics and 2nd when I got out my mini pumpkin stamp it turned out to be a sort of spooky bag. Undeterred I decided to carry on with my original plan which was to use my Winter Fun Bonnie stamp and turn her into a cute witch.
I was going to colour her in shades of grey but I wasn't happy with that so I added lilac. For the 'pumpkin' I have used prawn and then added some darker tones with pencil.
I think most of the rest is made from scraps. Whilst I was creating her I remembered the little Patchwork Pals owl and thought he would make a good trick or treating pal for a cute witch.
